Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy, or the use of water for therapeutic purposes, began thousands of years B.C. Water was the foundation of cure in ancient Greece and Rome. Essentially, the use of water, whether taken internally or applied by hot and cold applications, produces an effect on the blood and the circulatory system. True hydrotherapy is actually more like “thermotherapy,” as it is the relative temperature of the application of water that produces the healing effects.

Hydrotherapy is a powerful balancing mechanism as well as a great detoxifying mechanism. In our office we use hydrotherapy to facilitate your healing by external applications of various kinds, depending on the effect that needs to be produced.
